Bank transfer orders on WhatsApp, placed only after the receipt arrives.
When a customer chooses bank transfer, the GECA assistant sends your account details with the exact total, waits for the transfer screenshot, and only then places the order. Saying yes first is not enough.
I will pay by bank transfer
Please transfer PKR 3,450 to Meezan Bank, Title: Your Store, IBAN PK00 MEZN 0000 0000 0000 0000, then send the receipt screenshot here.
Can you place the order first?
We need the transfer receipt before placing the order. Please send the screenshot once the transfer is done.
Thank you, payment proof received. Your order #1042 is confirmed.
How does GECA handle bank transfer payments on WhatsApp?
If bank transfer is switched on, the assistant offers it alongside cash on delivery. When the customer picks it, the assistant sends your bank name, account title and IBAN with the exact order total, including delivery. It then waits. If the customer replies yes or asks to place the order first, the assistant reminds them the receipt is needed. Only when a payment screenshot or transaction reference arrives is the order confirmed, marked as bank transfer and sent to your order board.

The problem this solves.
Promised transfers do not always arrive
Orders placed on a promise to pay later can tie up stock and kitchen time with nothing received.
Account details get mistyped
Staff copying IBANs and totals by hand make mistakes that delay payment.
Proof gets lost in chat
Screenshots scattered across personal phones are hard to match to orders later.
Step by step.
- 01
Customer chooses bank transfer
New customers are offered your enabled methods. Returning customers see their last used method pre-selected.
- 02
Details and exact total sent
Bank, account title, IBAN, your own instructions and the full total including delivery.
- 03
The assistant waits for proof
A yes, a promise or a request to place the order first does not confirm it.
- 04
Proof received, order placed
The screenshot or reference is recorded and the order is created with bank transfer as the payment method.
What it does, exactly.
Your own instructions
Add a short note customers see with your bank details, such as which reference to use.
Exact totals
The amount includes every item, options and the delivery fee for the customer’s zone.
COD alongside
Offer cash on delivery and bank transfer together, or only one of them.
Remembers preference
Returning customers see their usual payment method pre-selected in the order summary.
Recorded on the order
The order shows the payment method so staff know it was prepaid.
No duplicate orders
Once the order is placed, the cart is emptied so a repeated message cannot create a second order.
