How does GECA protect orders at checkout?
The prices a customer’s browser sends are never trusted. When an order is placed, GECA looks up each product, variant, add-on and option in your catalogue and rejects the order if anything does not match, is inactive or is unavailable. If the same customer submits the same cart twice within seconds, for example by tapping the button twice, the second request returns the first order instead of creating a new one. Payment methods and order types you have switched off are refused, and delivery orders must include an address.
